Bio

Greg Gardner became a certified athletic trainer in 1985 and has been active in the field of athletic training since that date and is very involved in athletic training education. He is a CAATE site visitor and completed approximately 18 site visits. Gardner served as member of the Joint Review Committee on Athletic Training whose charge was to make accreditation recommendations to CAAHEP, the accrediting agency for athletic training. He was also a founding member of the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education when it assumed the role previously played by the JRC-AT. Gardner was elected to his current role as President of the CAATE in November of 2007 when he took office in August of 2008.
