Javen Weston, PhD

Bio
Javen Weston received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in 2015 from the University of Oklahoma under the supervision of Prof. Jeffrey Harwell for studying nanoparticle gels and solids-stabilized emulsions. Following that he spent three years as a guest researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the Polymers and Complex Fluids Group under Dr. Steve Hudson and as a post-doctoral researcher at Georgetown University in the Institute for Soft Matter Synthesis and Metrology with Prof. Daniel Blair with his research focusing on microstructural transitions in high shear rate flows of non-Newtonian fluids. He joined the faculty of the Russell School of Chemical Engineering at TU in 2018.
