Bio

Marsha Howard has been working in biological education as an educator or researcher for the past 26 years.  Her undergraduate degree in Biochemical laboratory technology prepared her to go into the field of biology with a broad range of skills.  After working in a college teaching laboratory for a few years she pursued her education degree as well.  Travel across the country allowed Howard to continue working in various areas of biological research as a Research Assistant.  Upon coming to Tulsa, she specialized in disease-causing amoeba and after working in the field for 10 years, completed her Masters degree in biomedical science.  Since the year 2000 she has been teaching High School Biology and Physical Science.  Howard's position at TU offers her the best of both worlds: education and the opportunity to work with students, and the possibility of pursuing research interests in parasitology and microbiology.
