Nathan Hutchins, PhD

Bio
Nathan is an engineer and educator currently serving as Chapman Applied Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Tulsa. Originally from Fort Gibson, OK, Nathan attended The University of Tulsa for his B.S. in Electrical Engineering. After working as an civilian engineer for the US Air Force, he came back to The University of Tulsa for his graduate education, researching autonomous systems, specifically human factors and user acceptance of autonomous cars. After completing his Ph.D. in 2018, Nathan began teaching and research full time at The University of Tulsa where he is currently educating new engineers and researching autonomous systems, microprocessor architectures, and rapid prototyping of RF Circuits.
