I have been the Director, School of Nursing since November 2017. I continue my role as Director of the Family Nurse Practitioner Program. I am an ANCC certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 1999, with experience in Acute Care, LTAC, Rural Health clinic, Cardiology, Neurology, Telemedicine, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Facilities. Prior to joining The University of Tulsa, Dr. Stansifer practiced at HMC with the hospitalist group and continues to maintain a clinical practice. Dr. Stansifer is a volunteer faculty at OU Department of Internal Medicine.

Research Interests

Evidenced-based protocols for prevention of hospital acquired pressure injury.
