Biography

Casie Brim is visiting clinical assistant professor with the AG-ACNP program. She maintains her clinical expertise by practicing as a AG-ACNP with the trauma team at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the only ACS-verified Level 2 trauma center in northeastern Oklahoma. She graduated from the University of South Alabama with her DNP and AG-ACNP. She completed her Master of Nursing Education at the University of Oklahoma. Casie was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau with each degree. Casie began her nursing career in a surgical ICU and managed trauma, neuro, and cardiovascular surgical patients. She has also worked as an organ procurement coordinator for Oklahoma’s organ procurement organization. In addition, she was the clinical educator for three years in a neuro, trauma, surgical ICU before taking her current role as Nurse Practitioner. Casie began her nursing career in a surgical ICU and managed trauma, neuro and cardiovascular surgical patients. She has also worked as an organ procurement coordinator for Oklahoma’s organ procurement organization. In addition, she was the clinical educator for three years in a neuro, trauma, surgical ICU before taking her current role as Nurse Practitioner. Casie is extremely supportive of the nursing profession and uses real-life experience and humor to teach the latest standards of care.
