Biography

Roger Blais is the Chief Academic Officer of the University reporting directly to the President. He is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Henry Kendall College of Arts and Sciences, the Collins College of Business, the College of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the College of Law, the Graduate School, the Division of Lifelong Learning, the University School, Academic Publications (The James Joyce Quarterly, Tulsa Studies in Women's Literature, and Nimrod), Petroleum Abstracts, Broadcast Services (KWGS-KWTU), the Center for Global Education, the Registrar's Office, the Office of Assessment, the Office of Nationally Competitive Scholarships and the Tulsa Undergraduate Research Challenge (TURC), and the Office of Honors Programs and Faculty Development. He is responsible for development of the curriculum, the recruitment and development of faculty, assessment and accreditation, and the integrity of the academic enterprise. The fundamental measure of all duties is providing for the educational success of TU students in all programs.
