Alona Andress

Adjunct Henry Kendall College of Arts & Sciences
School of Language and Literature

It is a well-known fact that we acquire language best by using it in communicative ways. Alona Andress helps her students of Russian expand communicative skills through activities which reproduce communication in real-world situations (e.g. shopping, traveling abroad, or going out). These activities highlight learning throughout communication in the target language. She normally uses a combination of the four language skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing.
